MET BETHANY

Sat. morning at 10 a.m. I met Bethany from Livada Orphan Care and we walked all over. She showed me where the church was that I would be attending Sun., and we stopped for her to run a few errands. It was fun for me, because she is looking for a new couch. It was fun to see what a Romanian furniture store was like! She was explaining a little bit to me about the money system (why does it seem so hard?!), and just about life in general in Romania. She's quite an interesting gal and is SO dedicated to their cause over here. I find it interesting that none of the Americans are paid a salary by Livada. They all have to raise their own support in order to come over and work. What an experience though! I'm pretty impressed with their Romanian language skills. They're way ahead of me! I think I've said "thank you" and excuse me twice and that's about it!
